Matthias was a great help! he quickly dialed in that my issue was actually an insulation problem and confirmed my gas fireplace chimney had no issues. another company didn't take the time to look at anything except the chimney chase from the roof and wanted $1500 to fix a problem that didn't actually exist.

Fireplace Wood Insert
We first had 2nd Generation to our house to do an inspection on our two chimneys. Matthias and Troy gave us our solutions and we went with the wood insert solution. The whole team, all four of them, were so great to have to install the wood insert. They explained everything they were doing. Very quick on the install as well. 2nd Generation's prices are right inline with their competition in the Twin Cities Market. We will definitely be future customers!
